He worked by day,
And toiled by night.
He gave up play
And some delight.
Dry books he read,
…New things to learn.
And forged ahead,
Success to earn.
He plodded on with
Faith and pluck;
And when he won,
Men called it Luck…!!
Got buried in work,
He digged out time.
Baked bricks of desire
Stones of faith made shine..
He erected his dreams
He built them in line
With foundations intact
Pillars of strength at work
He many times fell,
Got many times stuck;
Still when he won,
Men called it Luck…!!
He has a lot more to build
He has a lot more to say.
Persistence with will
He thinks is the only way..
For whom, Luck is an excuse
Relying on Luck is a crime.
Success is just a word,
Hard work makes it rhyme.
If you think you are Lucky
This too must be your story,
If you think you are not.! Anyway;
There is nothing called luck.
